14th Annual Student Nature Writing Contest
Sponsored by Redwood Region Audubon Society
Up to 6 cash prizes to be awarded to the best essay(s) or poem(s) by Humboldt or Del Norte County students in Grades 4-12 on “What Nature Means to Me”
- Winners to be published on the RRAS website, www.rras.org.
- Awards to be presented at Godwit Days Festival at the Arcata Community Center Saturday, April 20, 2019.
- Entries should be no more than 450 words in length; one entry per student.
Topics suitable for exploration include, but are not limited to, bird feeding, duck hunting, animal rescue, and observations of the natural world.
Entries must include student’s name, home address, phone number and/or e-mail, teacher name, grade, and school.
Deadline for receipt: Friday, March 22, 2019.
