This workshop is designed for birders who already know common bird vocalizations and wish to expand their knowledge.The focus of this particular session will be on sparrows. The songs of local breeding sparrows will be the starting point and we’ll also go into chips and flight calls. The classroom and field trip will work on both identifying unfamiliar birds to group and differentiating group members (Reference event #SA45 for Basic course). This trip will not stop for food, but will stop at restrooms. There will be opportunity to use a spotting scope if you have one.
